Hull Tigers are a professional association football club based in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1904. The position of Commercial Manager is responsible to drive the commercial sales and matchday packages on a day to day basis. The role is responsible for achieving and exceeding all sales revenue targets through effective sales and marketing initiatives required to optimise revenues and maximise profits. The role is focused around exploring and engaging new business opportunities.
Agree with Managing Director the Club and Stadium Sponsorship Sales Strategy
Agree with Managing Director the Club Experience Plan
Develop and Implement Club and Stadium Sponsorship plan
Build effective commercial relationships with local businesses and business leaders
Identify suspected prospect lists for all Sponsorship prospects
Create Sponsorship platform
Identify, sell and implement new sponsorship advertising and hospitality opportunities
Manage the Commercial Team to deliver results and Club Experience
Develop and agree Quarterly forecasts and Budgets
Monitoring Property Rate Card and agree quarterly updates with Managing Director
Conduct and record quarterly appraisals for the Commercial Team
Comply with all Club policies and procedures
Create and Maintain all match day SLA’s
Negotiate and deliver major events to be held at the Stadium
Any other duties commensurate to the role.
