Provision Events are searching for a Business Development Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be charged with contacting new prospects, selling the concept and securing initial meetings plus attending new sales pitches/meetings and negotiations.
Proactively research new sales prospects across a number of sectors, ensuring the correct person is targeted
Initiate face-to-face client meetings through research & follow up communication
Manage relationships with rightsholders, governing bodies and relevant brands
Develop a customer database and ensure it is effectively maintained
Secure New Business sales through a professional network of high-level contacts, both local and national, via customer meetings, telephone sales and e-targeting.
Qualifications & Skills
Ideally a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a proactive sales environment
Knowledge / Experience within the Football or Rugby industry
Experience in an experiential/live marketing preferred, but not essential
Proven experience in business development, negotiation, account management and relationship building
Excellent IT skills (including excellent MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent presentation and verbal skills
Ambitious team player
Able to work under pressure
