Our client, a professional sports organisation, are seeking to hire a Commercial Sales Executive to join their Commercial Department. The ideal candidate will be a confident, driven individual who has a successful track record of sales.
To generate sales for the commercial growth of our client.
To sell our clients hospitality, advertising and sponsorship inventory to new and existing customers.
To identifying new markets and business opportunities.
Identify new sales leads and prospects introducing new revenue streams to our client
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Good understanding of local/regional Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Customer (B2C) markets for all aspects of revenue generation from matchday and non-matchday opportunities.
Build local business knowledge and generate a personal network of B2B contacts.
Prospect clients for new and future business leads.
Arranging meetings both on-site and off-site with potential customers to prospect for new business.
Utilise the matchday operation to identify new and maintain existing business.
Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, via telephone calls, emails and all other forms of communication.
Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
Responsible for hitting sales targets set by line manager.
Daily sales reporting to line manager.
Working with line manager daily to identify business opportunities for commercial growth.
Understand all aspects of the commercial business and become a team player in commercial budget delivery.
Have close working relationship with other departments to deliver overall club strategy.
Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.
Working hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm plus match days
