Saracens Football Club are an English professional rugby union team based in London, England. Established in 1876, they currently play in Premiership Rugby, the top level of domestic rugby union in England, and were the champions of the European Rugby Champions Cup, which they won twice consecutively, in 2016 and 2017. Since 2012, Saracens have played their home games at Allianz Park in Hendon, in the London Borough of Barnet; previous grounds have included Vicarage Road in Watford, and Bramley Road. The club's home playing colours are black and red.

This role is one of flair, creativity and energy.  You will be the lead on all internal content production & distribution for the club.  Working with internal teams as well as their external agency support. It is essential that you understand their positioning in the industry, their drive and their passion.  You will be producing a significant amount of content for the club therefore you will understand their strategy, their brand, their culture, their values and ethics.

This position is absolutely integral in creating engaging and energised content for the club for them to use across all their channels.  Capturing content and editing the material to catch the feeling and energy, showcasing all subjects in the right frame is critical, as is enhancing their reputation across their social platforms, including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. You will be the lead in-house videographer and will support the team on match days to work closely the squads and staff.   You will be expected to gather content, film interviews and events, and record and edit footage. 

The post requires the individual to support all other departments requiring assistance.  This may include, for example, the Saracens Sport Foundation, their charity.  Creating emotional, compelling pieces which reach out to the audience and to showcase the SSF in the right manner is essential to their success.

The role is based in a team but requires and individual to sometimes work autonomously.

The role requires the individual to be a natural influencer; a person who can gain trust and confidence quickly and effectively.  A keen sport enthusiastic with a competent level of rugby knowledge will aid the associated duties however this is not critical.



Working with the full Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, PremierPro and After Effects) to produce high quality video pieces

To have an awareness of website and social media following and to monitor trends to ensure that material has maximum exposure and impact changing the platform as and when required

Producing in-house video assets that respond to digital trends, including shooting, lighting and audio

To produce material to support to any internal party which will include the Saracens Sport Foundation.  You will be expected to produce compelling and convincing pieces.  This support will be pivotal in undertaking and capturing film pieces, editing and producing appropriate pieces which show our ethics and values at all times and meeting the objective of the exercise.
