We have an exciting new opportunity for a creative and innovative Digital Content Team Leader who will help us by making high quality written, video, visual, audio and social content for our digital channels. You will burst with ideas that will help transform Britain into a great cycling nation and encourage millions of people to get active. A writer, editor, videographer, photographer, podcaster, the ideal candidate will not fit neatly into any creative box and will be a true digital native. Capable of working with a range of media and storytelling techniques in order to create compelling content.

In this role you will focus your energy on:

Development of British Cycling’s content strategy the planning, production, creation, editing, design and writing of content that moves and motivates - for British Cycling’s owned and shared platforms, as well as British Cycling’s media, commercial and funding partners.Leading the sourcing, briefing and direction of third party content producers (including video production companies, editors, designers, photographers and writers) to make content which helps transform Britain into a great cycling nation.Tracking and reporting on content related metrics from British Cycling platforms and 3rd party. Providing feedback and regular reports key projects, performance and generate insights which enable the design of new content formats and distribution methods.Live up to our values of unity, integrity, innovation and passion.

All We Need from You is…

Proven experience of working in a content editor / production role with responsibility for leading a team.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Degree level communications / content / journalism qualification OR equivalent relevant work experience.Act as the authority within British Cycling on content best practice and digital trends providing guidance to colleagues across to business as required.
