This position drives the commercial sales and new business opportunities on a day to day basis. The role is responsible for achieving and exceeding all sales revenue targets through effective sales and marketing initiatives required to optimise revenues and maximise profits. The role is focused around finding and engaging new business and general match to match sales. The stakeholder also account manages all new contacts.
Responsible for identifying and maximising new business development opportunities across specific target markets.
This role focuses on matchday and non-matchday event sales.
Increasing matchday hospitality sales.
Responsible for growing commercial financial targets year on year.
Responsible for delivering a new business sales strategy that addresses a different geographical sales coverage, implementing tactics, plans and profit targets for new business and rolling that out.
Identify and propose with the Commercial Manager the development of products, pricing and promotional plans for the Club’s assets devising our go-to-market plan for our products, driving and coordinating the pace of execution.
Identifying, researching and targeting new business prospects on a daily basis.
Gaining new appointments and business from hot and cold leads.
Liaising with new and existing clients over the phone and email and meeting them face to face on site.
Produce sales lead sheets with day to day objectives and targets for new business for you and team.
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure we target market specific fan groups intelligently for new products and any existing commercial portfolio opportunities.
Work with the Pearl Finders service in identifying new business to business opportunities for the Club.
Manage with internal stakeholder’s specific data segmentation projects utilising the Club’s central database to target market around agreed projects in line with the commercial strategy.
Assist in the overall business and account management piece for all commercial club sponsors, ensuring that best in class levels of customer service and client satisfaction are upheld at all times.
Assist in the management of the fulfilment of all contractual obligations & benefits to hospitality and commercial sponsors.
Explore and actively pursue any opportunities for additional sponsorship/revenue streams through benchmarking the operation against competitors.
Assist in the design and management of all marketing collateral required to assist in growing the commercial revenues and specific projects.
Manage the content of commercial pages in matchday programme throughout the season.
Manage the relationships working with your line manager of specific 3rd party commercial suppliers and ‘official’ partners of the business as stated in the Commercial Strategy.
Daily cold calling responsibilities in order to fulfil weekly commercial targets and objectives.
Ensure all weekly/daily/matchday reports are administered accurately and to agreed timelines.
Represent the Club where and when necessary in a sales capacity at conferences, networking events, league meetings and away matches.
Works collaboratively with other managers of the business ensuring standards are consistent throughout the business and working relationships are kept positive at all times.
Any other duties appropriate to the skills and experience of the position holder.

This a full time role that include work on weekends and evenings;
