Vacancy - Sponsorship Sales Executive - Not Longer Available

Purpose of the Role

The Sponsorship Sales Executive will be responsible for sourcing and closing new advertising and sponsorship deals for Hull City Tigers.

The role will also be responsible for supporting all areas of sponsorship renewals and new sales efforts, assisting in commercial rights negotiations, activation possibilities and upsell opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

Developing leads and securing meetings with prospective suppliers and partners through research, outbound calls and building an industry network and profile.

Development of bespoke and tailored partnership proposals to suit needs of individual companies.

Presentation of partnership opportunities to senior level individuals in targeted companies.

Closing partnership deals including negotiation of commercial terms and working alongside legal team to negotiate and conclude contractual agreements.

Supporting the Commercial Manager with generating revenue from a variety of sourcesLiaising and developing relationships with relevant media and sponsorship agencies.

Maintaining accurate records and database of all sales and business development activities.


Skills & Experience Required

Sponsorship or other sales experience with strong track record of opening doors.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to create leads in person and on the phone.

Ability to build a network of contacts and sponsorship database.

Ability to liaise with and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment and collaborate with the wider team to make key decisions on projects.

Strong presentation and negotiation skillsEnergy, determination and ambition.

Educated to degree level.
