Gloucestershire Cricket has announced a new partnership with Easee, who will become the front-of-shirt sponsor for both the Club’s men’s and women’s Metro Bank One Day Cup kits for the 2026 season.

The agreement, brokered by Sporting Group International, represents a forward-thinking collaboration that combines high-visibility sponsorship with meaningful sustainability impact.

As part of the partnership, 25 smart electric vehicle (EV) charging points will be installed at Seat Unique Stadium. The installation will support growing demand for EV infrastructure while improving accessibility for visitors, staff and players.

The project forms a key component of Gloucestershire Cricket’s ambition to achieve net zero by 2040, reinforcing the Club’s commitment to reducing emissions and future-proofing its facilities.

Easee is a leading provider of smart EV charging solutions, with more than one million chargers installed across Europe. Its technology is designed to make electrification simple, scalable and cost-effective across residential, commercial and public environments.

The Easee brand will feature prominently on Gloucestershire’s Metro Bank One Day Cup kits throughout the 2026 campaign, across both the men’s and women’s teams.

Joe Kaniecki, Head of Partnerships at Gloucestershire Cricket, said:
“We’re delighted to welcome Easee to Gloucestershire Cricket as our front-of-shirt partner for the 2026 Metro Bank One Day Cup. This partnership not only enhances the visibility of both our men’s and women’s teams, but also supports our long-term sustainability ambitions.

The installation of EV charging infrastructure at the Seat Unique Stadium is a key step as we work towards our goal of reaching net zero by 2040. Partnering with Easee helps us make EV charging more accessible at the ground while ensuring we’re building for the future in a practical and scalable way.”

Sam Levy, Regional Sales Director – UK & Ireland at Easee, added:
“Sport has a unique role to play in accelerating the transition to electric mobility. We're thrilled to be working with Gloucestershire Cricket to make EV charging more accessible at a venue where demand is constantly growing, while supporting the club's broader sustainability goals.

This is a perfect real-world example of how electrification can be implemented simply – with infrastructure that can scale as demand grows, without unnecessary upfront complexity.”

Adrian Wright, Group CEO of Sporting Group International, commented:
“This partnership is a strong example of how modern sports sponsorship can deliver far more than brand exposure. By bringing together Gloucestershire Cricket and Easee, we’ve helped create a collaboration that aligns commercial objectives with genuine environmental impact.

There is a growing demand from both rights holders and brands to deliver partnerships that contribute to sustainability goals, and this project demonstrates how sport can play a meaningful role in supporting the transition to a low-carbon future.”

The EV charging infrastructure is being delivered by Rapid Power Group, specialists in EV chargers, solar panel and battery storage installations, with completion scheduled ahead of the 2026 season.
